Ex-Cisco CEO John Chambers aims to simplify enterprise networking with NaaS startup Nile

NEW DELHI: Nile, a startup by former Cisco chief executive John Chambers, and Cisco EVP & chief development officer Pankaj Patel has emerged out of the stealth with the objective to simplify enterprise networking with wired and wireless offerings delivered entirely as-a-Service (aaS).

Nile is betting on an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) backed self-driven network platform to “forever change how organizations design, acquire, deploy, secure, and maintain connectivity”, according to a statement. “Nile’s clean-sheet approach does to networking what the cloud did to computing and storage.”
