Global Open RAN revenues ‘crushes expectations’ in 1H22: Dell’Oro Group

NEW DELHI: The Open Radio Access Networks (Open RAN) telecom gear revenues have “crushed expectations” accelerating at a “torrid pace” in the first half of 2022, according to Dell’Oro Group.

The research firm though did not share specific data, but attributed the increase in revenues to brownfield developments in the North America region.

To be sure, Open RAN revenues in North America increased four-fold year-on-year, as per the report.
