Amazon is killing its cloud storage service ‘Drive’

Amazon is pulling down the shutters on its cloud storage service ‘Drive’, the company announced in an email to its customers, as per a report by 9To5Google. The cloud storage will shut down at the end of 2023 after starting its journey in 2011.
Beginning from December 31, 2023, all the Amazon Drive customers globally will no longer be able to view or download old content on the cloud service. Amazon Drive will stop supporting new uploads from January 31, 2023. Also, on October 31, 2022, the Amazon Drive app will be removed from the iOS and Android app stores.
All the existing Amazon drive customers worldwide are advised to download local copies of their data before the service expires.
