Twitter takes down filmmaker Leena Manimekalai’s controversial tweet on govt request

Twitter India has withheld a controversial tweet by filmmaker Leena Manimekalai following a takedown order by the government.

The US-based microblogging site revealed this in a report to Lumen Database, a repository of legal complaints and requests for removal of online material, on Wednesday.
