Reporting of Cyber Incidents & Tracing Attackers

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), using its power under sub-section (6) of Section 70B of the Information Technology Act, 2000, issued specific directions related to information security practices, procedures, prevention, response and reporting of cyber incidents. The new directions were issued on April 28, 2022 and will become effective after 60 days of its issuance ie June 27, 2022.
