GSMA elevates Lara Dewar as Chief Marketing Officer

NEW DELHI: The GSM Association (GSMA) has elevated Lara Dewar as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective from June 1. She will report to GSMA Director General, Mats Granryd.

“The move follows Dewar’s delivery of strategic reputational and corporate communications for the GSMA as Global Head of PR and Communications,” the London-headquartered industry association said in a statement Wednesday.

In her new role, Dewar will lead the GSMA’s global marketing and communications strategy.

She will be also responsible for identifying and delivering strategic marketing solutions for the GSMA, as well as responsibility for marketing the MWC Barcelona and the entire MWC and Mobile 360 series, the statement added.
