Taiwanese MediaTek’s growth surpasses industry average: CEO

Taiwanese mobile chipset major MediaTek has doubled its revenue to $17 billion, from $8 billion in 2019, with the growth of close to 57% compared to the industry average of 23%, the company’s top executive said.

“We have delivered a 2X revenue from 2019-2021. Our revenues doubled from $8 billion to 17 billion, and our operating margin increased to 5X,” Rick Tsai, president, and chief executive, MediaTek said.
