JioPhone Next’s bundled offer less attractive than Airtel’s Rs 6K cashback plan: Kotak

Kolkata: Reliance Jio’s bundled offer on the new JioPhone Next — a 4G smartphone developed jointly by Reliance Industries and Google – is less attractive than Bharti Airtel’s recent Rs 6,000 cashback offer available on purchase of a wider variety of 4G devices priced upto Rs 12,000, analysts said.

“Airtel’s recent offer of providing back-ended cashback of Rs 6,000 on several smartphone devices seems less costly for a customer on an overall basis than the JioPhone Next,” Kotak Institutional Equities said in a note seen by ET.
