UU launches TCS-Youth Employability Prog

The Utkal University on Friday launched a TCS- Youth Employability Programme (YEP) to provide benefits to young graduates to be competent to face the modern-day employment challenges.

The programme in the first phase will be offered to non-engineering graduates of the university and extended to affiliated colleges in a second phase.

Inaugurating the programme, university Vice-Chancellor Prof Sabita Acharya lauded the efforts. She said five C’s are important for youths -Competency, Confidence, Connection and Character and Contribution.

PG Council Chairman Prof Basanta Mallick highlighted the need of soft skills and employability skills for the underprivileged students to be successful.
