Watch: When Google CEO Sundar Pichai forgot to unmute himself
Google parent Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai has shared a video where while talking he forgot to unmute himself. Pichai has shared the two-minute long video of the incident on Twitter. In the video, he is talking to Kermit the Frog, a Muppet character created in 1955. Referring to the incident, Pichai tweeted the following today — “Always remember to unmute.”
“Hi there, Sundar,” Kermit says to Pichai in the video clip, welcoming him for the interaction taking place as a part of YouTube’s Dear Earth series. Pichai responds to Kermit, however, the tech giant CEO is inaudible as his mic is on mute. “Sundar, I think you are on mute. Wow, can’t believe I am talking to the CEO of Google, and he is on mute,” says Kermit.
Pichai realises his mistake and says, “Sorry Kermit. I was on mute, and I’ve done it a few times this year like everyone else. I’m huge fan of you and the muppets,” the Pichai told Kermit.
