Jio Platforms’ Haptik launches app to allow SMBs to grow their businesses on WhatsApp

Pune: Jio Platforms’ customer experience AI platform Jio Haptik Technologies on Tuesday announced the general availability of Interakt, an app that enables small and midsize businesses (SMBs) to manage their entire business on WhatsApp. This is Haptik’s first product for the SMB and MSME economy, estimated to be over 50 million businesses strong.

Businesses will get a dedicated WhatsApp Business number which they can use to communicate with their customers for product inquiries, customer care, alerts and notifications, assisted sales and more.
