Invesco drags ZEE to NCLT seeking EGM for board reconstitution

Invesco, the largest investor in Zee Entertainment NSE -1.52 % Enterprises (ZEE), approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Wednesday against the entertainment company for failing to announce a date for the extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

The investors have approached the tribunal under Section 98 (1) and 100 of the Companies Act to seek its intervention to direct the company to call for the EGM before October 28.
