Ericsson launches new company vision, fresh branding to focus on emerging opportunities

NEW DELHI: Ericsson said that it has launched a new company purpose and vision statements, alongside a refreshed branding as it prepares to capture future emerging opportunities in the hyperconnected 5G era.

Ericsson states its new vision as, “A world where limitless connectivity improves lives, redefines business and pioneers a sustainable future”.

While the purpose is, “To create connections that make the unimaginable possible”.

“For almost 150 years our technology has transformed nearly every sector of society. The networks we build have already connected billions of people and soon they will connect almost anything and everything,” said Börje Ekholm, President, and CEO, Ericsson. “This era of hyper-connectivity is going to help to address major global challenges like climate change and digital inclusion.”
