Google Meet gets new features for improving call quality
Google is rolling out a bunch of new features to its video-conferencing platform, Meet. These new features are aimed at improving the quality of calls made using this platform.
The first feature that the company has introduced on its platform is called Gentle notifications. This feature will notify users if it detects that the call quality is degrading. Google in a blog post said that “when Meet detects a performance issue that is impacting call quality, you’ll see a notification bubble describing the issue and a red dot on the “More options” menu.” On selecting the “Troubleshooting & help” option, they will get more information regarding the issue and ways to resolve it.
