DoT official K Ramchand to retire voluntarily from service effective May 13

NEW DELHI: K Ramchand, DG (Telecom) who is also holding an additional charge of Member (Technical), Department of Telecommunications (DoT), will voluntarily retire from government service, effective May 13, 2021, according to a DoT order.

“The President is pleased to permit Shri K Ramchand [Staff No. 8011], an ‘Apex’ grade ITS Group ‘A’ Officer, presently working as DG (Telecom) and holding the additional charge of Member (T), DoT to retire voluntarily from Government Service under Rule 48 of the CCS (Pension) Pension Rules, 1972, w.e.f. 13.05.2021 (A/N),” the order dated May 11, 2021 read.
