OZiva raises $12 million in Series B funding round

Mumbai: OZiva, a plant-based nutrition omnichannel brand, has raised $12 million in a Series B funding round led by Eight Roads Ventures. F-Prime Capital and existing investor Matrix Partners India also participated in the round.

Founded in 2016 by Aarti Gill and Mihir Gadani, OZiva has products across categories such as women’s health, skin, hair, men’s health, and general wellness. It also offers personalised diet and fitness consultations, nutritional and fitness content.

The funds from this round will be used to expand its team of 110 employees, enter the kids nutrition segment, add products in the vitamins and minerals category, and on research and development, it said. The startup is also investing in its own manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh, Gill said.
