Nasscom pegs Indian IT industry revenue at $194 billion for FY21

Bengaluru | Mumbai: National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) has pegged the Indian IT industry to report revenue of $194 billion in FY21.

The domestic IT industry now accounts for 8% of India’s gross domestic product and has a 52% share in services exports from the country, according to Nasscom.

“It was a resounding year for the technology industry… CEOs are very optimistic about the coming year. Our expectation is that there will be higher spending on technologies in the coming years,” said Nasscom Chairman Pravin Rao said at the industry body’s annual strategic review,
