Over 13,000 malware threats detected every hour in 2020: Seqrite Threat Report 2021

Researchers at enterprise security firm Seqrite detected 13,733 malware threats every hour in 2020, with Trojan, Infector, Worm and PUA malware disrupting enterprise operations across the world.

Out of the total 113 million malware detections in 2020, the first quarter clocked the highest at 36 million detections, with January witnessing maximum malware attacks, Seqrite, the cybersecurity security products and solutions brand of Quick Heal Technologies NSE 0.28 %, said.
