Mavenir picks Viavi for lab validation of radio access solutions

NEW DELHI: Network test solutions provider Viavi Solutions on Wednesday said it has partnered with OpenRAN major Mavenir for the lab validation of radio access solutions in Viavi’s lab test platform in the U.S.

Viavi tools are able to measure the complete performance of the network over multiple interfaces including O-RAN and RF through to the packet core, said Viavi and added that the tools can emulate multiple UEs to create a precise test environment, including comprehensive feature interactions, simulated RF and mobility, replications of real-world user behavior profiles, together with mobility across the radio access network.
