Infosys’ Q3 net profit rises 17% to Rs5,197 cr

Infosys on Wednesday reported nearly 17% YoY rise in consolidated net profit for December quarter at Rs 5197 crore. In the same quarter last year, it reported a profit of Rs 4,457 crore.Gross revenue for the quarter rose 12.3% YoY to Rs 25,927 crore. It was up 5.5% on a sequential basis. In constant currency terms, revenue growth was 6.6%.

The IT major also raised revenue and margin guidance band to 4.5-5%, and 24-24.5%, respectively, on the back of continued strong performance. — Agencies
