In view of the rising cyber crime activities in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the Twin City Commissionerate police on Thursday released a helpline number for citizens against cyber fraudsters. Therefore, the victims need to contact the police on the helpline number 7440006709 without any delay. Immediate action will be taken after the victim share the website link received from the fraudsters for monetary transaction,” Commissioner of Police Sudhansu Sarangi said. He directed the IICs of the police stations to take swift action on receiving the complaints regarding cyber crimes.
