Juspay Data Breach: ‘Customers’ card details and passwords are secure’

New Delhi: The data compromised in the Juspay data breach did not contain any transaction information, and customers’ card numbers and passwords remain secure, the payments processing platform said in a blogpost on Tuesday.

According to the blogpost, the data breach was restricted to an isolated system containing non-sensitive masked card, primarily used for display purposes on merchant user interface (UI) and cannot be used for completing a transaction.
