Two fake call centres busted in G’gram, 3 held

The Chief Minister’s flying squad busted two illegal call centres operating in Spaze IT Park, Sohna Road Sector-49 in Gurugram on Tuesday evening.

The Gurugram Police said on Wednesday that they have busted more than 25 fake call center rackets which were being run in Gurugram this year till December 13.

The call centres mostly used to cheat US nationals on the pretext of redeemed gift coupons of values ranging from one thousand to five thousand dollars and used to charge 100 to 500 dollars as service charge per client, the police said.

The police have recovered Rs 8.50 lakh and two laptops and a hard-disk along with other electronic gadgets.
