Nokia says mobile network division to focus on regaining 5G leadership
NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia Wednesday said its Mobile Networks division’s immediate focus will be on executing turnaround and regaining leadership in 5G, in addition to focusing on ORAN and vRAN technologies while growing its enterprise Private Wireless Networks Business.
It further said that the mobile network business is expected to deliver a comparable 0% margin in 2021, with “significant improvement” in the longer-term.
Nokia on October 29 had announced a new strategy and model which will become effective from 1 January 2021. Under this strategy, the gear maker will have four new business groups.
