Shazam’s iOS interface just got revamped and there’s also a web beta version

Apple has revamped the Shazam app on iOS with a new modern look and a design language that’s in line with the recent UI updates on Apple Music.

Now, when you launch the app on the iPhone, the screen is dominated by the central button, the tap to Shazam, with access to recently identified music that can be seen by swiping up. Apple has also added the ability to identify songs through the web browser for the first time ever and this is available in beta on shazam.com.

Apple had announced last month that Shazam had witnessed an excess of 200 million monthly active users across iOS and Android. And in case you did not remember, Apple acquired Shazam in 2017 for the “synergies with its music business”.
