Research paper by FTII chairman & CBFC member argues for “creative freedom” of OTTs, wants industry to set standards

NEW DELHI: At a time the I&B ministry is working on bringing in regulations for OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and others, a research paper authored by filmmaker and chairman of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Shekhar Kapur and Central Board for Film certification member Vani Tripathi Tikkoo has said the industry should “be encouraged to come together and prescribe uniform standards of controls.”
