BSNL employee groups protest against 4G network rollout delay

NEW DELHI: Aggrieved by the Centre’s decision to limit state-run telco BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) equipment procurement for 4G rollout from local vendors, employee groups of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said on Tuesday they will join the general strike on 26 November 2020.

The employee groups have further demanded that the government settle their 10 point charter of demands, as well as the 7 point charter of demands of the Central Trade Union.
