Smart speaker shipments in India to reach 750,000 units by end-2020, driven by Amazon Echo: Report

NEW DELHI: India smart speaker shipments are expected to cross 750,000 units by the end of the year 2020, led by Amazon Echo, as per a report by market research firm techARC.

The Amazon Echo smart speaker accounted for a cumulative market share of 95.9% for the January-September 2020 period, led by Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi that debuted in the July-September quarter and garnered a 7.1% market share.
