TRP scam: Bombay HC asks police to issue summons to Arnab Goswami if he’s named as an accused

The Mumbai police has been directed by the Bombay High Court to issue a summons to the chief editor of Republic TV Arnab Goswami if it proposes to add him as an accused in the FIR alleging TRP manipulation.

The bench comprising Justices SS Shinde and MS Karnik heard Goswami’s counsel Harish Salve say that he will cooperate with the investigation if the summons were issued.
