The new normal is robust, enterprise-grade connectivity at homes
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way we live, go about our day-to-day activities, and prioritize resources. As we adapt to doing everything “remotely” – working, learning, family engagements, and entertainment – the role of connectivity has been underlined more strongly than ever.
There are some, right from the American animated sitcom The Simpsons to the acclaimed author Dean Koontz (‘The Eyes of The Darkness’ 1981), who had predicted that a pandemic would befall us. An outbreak like this has been referenced many times in history, but there was little indication that internet connectivity would emerge as the single most important requirement during such a situation. Since March, we have seen unprecedented adoption of remote working and learning across India. The Ed-Tech sector has boomed during this time, and businesses across industries have been pushed to undergo, or at least consider, a digital transformation.
