Republic TV editor Arnab Goswami asked to appear before cops on October 16

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Police has initiated so-called ‘chapter proceedings’ against the managing director and editor-in-chief of Republic Media Network, Arnab Goswami, and asked him to present himself before the competent authority on October 16.

Sudhir Jambavdekar, the assistant commissioner of police acting as the judicial magistrate, has issued the order under certain sections of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
