iPhone 12 to outperform iPhone 11 despite a delayed launch: Counterpoint

NEW DELHI: The sales of Apple iPhone 12 family will exceed the iPhone 11 family’s September-December sales by 1% as there is a significant pent-up demand from iOS subscribers putting off upgrades until the launch of new 5G iPhones, said a new report by market research firm Counterpoint Research.

This marginal growth is despite a delayed launch in 2020 where Apple’s new iPhone 12 line-up will see zero sales in September and will also lose out on sales in October, said Counterpoint.
