#ETDigitalTelco: Affordable spectrum critical for India, says SoftBank’s Manoj Kohli

NEW DELHI: The availability of affordable spectrum is needed which is critical for the delivery of services to consumers, and the onset of 5G would plug the country’s infrastructural gap to accelerate economical activities, a top SoftBank executive said.

“The spectrum has to be provided in an affordable fashion. That is most important because if a spectrum is not affordable then customers will not be able to utilize it fully,” SoftBank India country head Manoj Kohle said at the ETTelecom Digital Telco Virtual Summit 2020.
