Reliance Jio leads in subscriber userbase in Delhi
Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio has managed to beat its rival telecom operators Airtel and Vodafone Idea in terms of the user base in Delhi-region. The telco has added over 30,000 mobile phone users in May this year. After this new addition, the total subscriber base has crossed 1.83 crore subscribers in the national capital.
As per the data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the telco has maintained its top spot in Delhi for the last couple of months.
On the other hand, both Airtel and Vodafone-Idea lost over 2 lakh and 3 lakh customers respectively in May in Delhi. Both Airtel and Vodafone-Idea have reported the customer base of 1.51 crore and 1.61 crore respectively by the period ended May.
