Apple delays rollout of this ‘controversial’ feature from iOS 14

If there is one feature from the upcoming iOS 14 update that has been massively talked about then it is the privacy feature that will allow its users to control which data each app can access.
After much debate and open disapproval from Facebook, Apple has pushed the release of this particular feature to next year, instead of rolling it out as part of the iOS 14 update that is set to be released soon after the launch of iPhone 12 series.
In a developer update, Apple said, “We are committed to ensuring users can choose whether or not they allow an app to track them. To give developers time to make necessary changes, apps will be required to obtain permission to track users starting early next year.”
Even though Apple has delayed the rollout of this feature, it doesn’t appear to be thinking of scrapping it, as Facebook and other developers may want it to.
