Company of Heroes arrives on iPhone and Android on September 10
Relic Entertainment’s World War 2 real-time strategy game Company of Heroes (CoH) has got a confirmed launch date on the iPhone and Android. It is September 10, 2020. For those not in the loop yet, the game has already been successfully ported to the iPad from PC platform sometime back. Feral Interactive, the developer of the highest-rated RTS game ever, shared the launch announcement via Twitter.
The game price has been set to be $13.99 / €14,99 / £13.99. Android users can pre-register on the Google Play Store. Company of Heroes on mobile would be a one-time purchase and there won’t be any in-game purchases. The game bears a file size of 5.2GB and requires at least Android 9.0 Pie or later. The Android smartphones that can officially run Company of Heroes are “Google Pixel 2 or better, Samsung Galaxy S8 or better, Samsung Galaxy Note8 or better, OnePlus 5T / 6T / 7 / 8, Sony Xperia 1 / XZ2 Compact, HTC U12+, LG V30+, Motorola Moto Z2 Force, Nokia 8, Xiaomi Mi 6 / Mi 9 / Mi 9T, Xiaomi Poco Phone F1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro.” However, this does not mean that these are the only phones that would support the game.
The Play Store description says “devices that are not capable of running Company of Heroes are automatically blocked from purchasing it.” That means go to Google Play Store and check if the game can be purchased before selling your Android phone too short. The game developer promises that the mobile version is “the full desktop game with no compromises.”
