Google launches Kormo Jobs application for Android users in India

Google has rolled out jobs application ‘Kormo Jobs’ in India after trialling the service in markets such as in Bangladesh and Indonesia. Google had introduced a job platform as a Spot on Google Pay last year. The Spot will now be rebranded as Kormo Jobs on the payment platform as well.

Google pointed out that the platform had seen big traction with active participation from job seekers as well as businesses. Google named Zomato and Dunzo as some of the companies who used the service to recruit candidates.

Google said that more than 2 million verified jobs were posted on the platform. The success encouraged Google to launch Kormo Jobs Android app in India.
