Goa’s IT stakeholders welcome telecom policy, call for quick implementation

PANAJI: Welcoming the state government’s move to frame a Telecom Infrastructure Policy 2020 for Goa, Goa IT Professionals on Thursday called on the government to implement the policy in a time-bound manner. GITP said that quick implementation of the telecom policy through a single-window system will help improve rural connectivity.

GITP president Gurudev Naik said that earlier policies meant to improve the state failed due to a “ lackadaisical approach” to implementation.
