ETGlobalTownhall: India’s digital payment market competitive, to reach $1 trillion by 2023: GSMA’s Mats Granryd

NEW DELHI: India’s digital payment market is competitive and growing impressively, and is expected to reach $1 trillion by 2023, a top telecom group’s chief Thursday said.

“The digital payment market in India is booming, extremely competitive, and expected to reach 1 trillion in value by 2023,” Mats Granryd, director-general, GSMA said at the ET Global Townhall.

London-based GSMA represents close to 800 telecom companies worldwide.
