Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will not launch in India

NEW DELHI: Tech giant Google has launched its new Pixel smartphone — Pixel 4a, after months of speculations. The company also announced that the smartphone will come to India in October and it will be available online on Flipkart.
At the launch of Pixel 4a, Google also confirmed that it will launch the 5G version of Pixel 4a priced at $499 (Rs 37,530) and the Pixel 5 this fall. This means that the company might launch both smartphones either in September or October. However, Google has also confirmed that it will not launch both these smartphones in India.
“Regarding the two new 5G Pixel phones that were announced globally today, these will not be available in India or Singapore, based on a variety of factors including local market trends and product features. We remain deeply committed to our current Pixel phones and look forward to bringing future Pixel devices to these countries,” said Google.
