5G iPhone may not launch in September, hints Qualcomm
NEW DELHI: It seems that Apple fans will have to wait a little longer for the 5G-enabled iPhone. Recently, Qualcomm announced its Q3 earnings report in which it was indicated that Apple’s upcoming 5G iPhone might face a delay. The chipset maker highlight “partial impact from the delay of a global 5G flagship phone launch” for its fourth-quarter projections which include the months of July, August, and September.
As reported by The Verge, Qualcomm might have confirmed that at lease some iPhone 12 models will not be available in September, unlike every year. The chief financial officer at Qualcomm Akash Palkhiwala also mentioned that some of its 5H chips which were ready to be shipped in September have been pushed until the end of this year.
