Thailand forms committee for 5G development led by PM Prayut Chan-o-cha
NEW DELHI: To coordinate the 5G development and boost the digital economy in Thailand, a 26-member National 5G Committee has been formed with Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-Cha as the chairman.
The development comes on the close heels of the collaboration between the Digital Economy and Society Ministry and Huawei Technologies to provide AI-assisted solutions with 5G technology to hospitals in the country to enhance the output diagnosis through high-speed networks.
Deputy prime ministers Somkid Jatusripitak, Prawit Wongsuwon, and Wissanu Krea-ngam will serve as the deputy chairmen of the committee and the minister of finance, minister of tourism, and the minister of education will also be committee members.
