Samsung Galaxy Note 20 may launch in August via an online event

NEW DELHI: The ongoing pandemic situation has compelled tech companies to cancel their major events. Companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft have shifted their major events online and Samsung is the latest tech giant to join this list.
A recent report by The Korea Herald, Samsung might organise an online-only event for the launch Galaxy Note 20 series. The report suggests that the company might skip the physical event and will organise a virtual Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event.
The report also suggests that one of the reasons behind the online-only event is the size of Samsung’s launch event. The launch of Samsung Galaxy S20 in February attracted 3,000 attendees from around the world. So, going by the present situation it would not be ideal to hold a physical launch event.
