Uber offers free rides to healthcare workers

The Delhi Government has joined hands with Uber – Ride hailing platform offering free rides for emergency services. According to Über , it will provide free charge transport for frontline healthcare workers/ Government officials on COVID-19 related duties.

Using microblogging site twitter, Uber tweeted : Proud to pledge free rides worth INR 75 Lakhs to Delhi Govt., for transporting frontline healthcare workers, and other essential services

In their repose, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also tweeted :Thank you for your support for Delhi’s healthcare workers. It is heartening to see so many organisations pitching in to help fight Corona
