Apple’s over-the-year headphones may launch later this year

Recently, there has been a buzz around Apple working on its own-brand over-ear wireless headphones and now a fresh report by Bloomberg has not only confirmed the same but also suggested that it may come as early as this year. The Bloomberg report cites people familiar with the matter and reveals that the Cupertino-based tech giant has been working on this new product category since at least 2018 and has ended up postponing the launch at least twice.
Now, Apple has its plans to launch this new product later in the year, however, it is not entire certain as the final development may get hampered due to the outbreak of the global pandemic of Covid-19.
“Apple’s ability to do final testing on audio products is also potentially compromised by the company’s virus-curbing measure of moving most of its employees to working remotely,” said the report.
