Instagram’s new Direct Message feature is now on desktop (PC), here’s how to use it

Facebook-owned photo and video sharing platform Instagram has always been an app focused service, leaving the web version with just a few basic features such as viewing posts and stories. The DM feature on the web is similar to Instagram’s mobile app where users can chat with their friends, create new groups, share photos and videos and even like a message. The new service also allows users to enable the DM desktop notifications to keep users notified with new updates.
