Spotify inks deal with Shemaroo to enhance India music catalogue

NEW DELHI: Content aggregator and distributor Shemaroo today said it has entered into partnership with audio streaming platform Spotify. Under the partnership, Shemaroo will provide access to its music content library to Spotify users.

“The association will be a treat for all Spotify users, giving them access to a wide range of Indian music categories across languages from the house of Shemaroo,” Shemaroo said in a statement.

Meanwhile Spotify commented on the development that it is committed to working with regional partners in India’s audio industry in order to make more content available to its users.
