Samsung has reportedly discontinued these Galaxy M series phones in India
South Korean smartphone brand Samsung has reportedly discontinued three Galaxy M series phones in India. According to a report by SamMobile, Galaxy M10, Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M20 have been discontinued. All three phones have also been removed from Samsung’s official website, the report stated. We checked the website and found that the said phones are no longer listed on Samsung India site.
To recall, Samsung introduced the Galaxy M series in February 2019 to take on the budget phone segment. It created a stir in the market with the aggressive pricing of Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20.
The SamMobile report also says that the above mentioned three phones- Samsung Galaxy M10, Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M20 were also missing from the revised price circular of Samsung phones that was distributed among retailers last week. The absence also hints at the discontinuation of these phones in the Indian market. For those unaware, Samsung increased the price of its handsets after the GST rate hike on mobiles became effective on April 1.
