COVID-19: Oppo donates Rs1 crore to PM relief fund
New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Oppo on Sunday said that it has donated Rs1 crore to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Distress Fundto fight Coronavirus pandemic.
“We salute all the people who continue to work, even in these tough times, so that we are safe in our houses and essential services are functional. As an organisation that stands in solidarity, alongside principles of business with a humane approach, we are contributing Rs 1 crore in aggregate towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s Distress Fund. It is a small step towards ensuring the well-being of those fighting at the frontline and showing our gratitude for the services they are providing to the citizens,” Oppo said in a note.
