Vodafone Idea says confident of handling growing voice and data demand amid lockdown

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea said it is continuously monitoring the traffic pattern and confident of handling the growing demand for voice and data services during the lockdown period due to the COVID-19 or Coronavirus outbreak.

A company spokesperson told ET that its ‘Business Continuity Plans’ are being reviewed across all operations.

“Our centralized network monitoring facilities (SNOC) across multiple locations in Pune and Hyderabad have been prepared for any kind of emergency evacuation due to corona threat at any particular building,” the spokesperson said.
